Get Back
In the Game.

Drs. McMarlin and Upshaw are physicians trained in sports medicine, specializing in non-surgical care for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Their personal experiences as athletes give them a distinct appreciation of what it's like to be on the other end of the stethoscope. Because they understand the time frames in which specific injuries need to be evaluated, the schedule at Winning Health is set up to accommodate a minimum of two stat referrals a day, allowing patients with fractures or concussions to be seen immediately.

One-On-One
Time.

Every patient who walks through the doors at Winning Health sees a physician. Dr McMarlin or Dr Upshaw are part of every visit from start to finish, taking the time to truly understand each patient’s unique issues and needs. Their expert care is marked by passion for helping patients of all ages live their best lives.

Making the
Call Together.

At Winning Health, our main priority is to empower patients to be active participants in making decisions about their treatment. We make it a point to clearly explain the diagnosis and works with you to find the best treatment plan based on your needs and your lifestyle.

Surgery is
not your
only answer.

Dr McMarlin explains our philosophy on Lowcountry Live

With the use of the latest technology in musculoskeletal ultrasound, Winning Health offers several alternatives to surgery for fractures, arthritis flares, muscle and tendon strains, joint sprains and more. Our use of ultrasound guidance allows us to treat arthritic patients much more reliably and less painfully than physicians who perform "blind" injections. Our goal is to give the best treatment with the least discomfort.
